The NEBOSH EMC is a globally recognised qualification for those who have environmental management responsibilities or anyone wishing to have a career in this area. The NEBOSH EMC covers the principles of environmental management and is relevant for both UK and international markets.
The EMC course will enable you to help your employer demonstrate environmental excellence and social responsibility, as well avoid prosecution, litigation and loss of reputation.
This qualification is for anyone who needs to gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles of environmental management or who have responsibilities on a day to day basis to manage environmental policies and procedures.
The NEBOSH EMC is assessed by – a two-hour written examination for Unit EC1 (the exam consists of ten ‘short-answer’ questions and one ‘long-answer’ question, all questions are compulsory). Unit EC2 requires the candidate to carry out an environmental review of a workplace or organisation and produce a justified action plan to improve performance.

Duration – 5 days
Validation – NEBOSH qualifications do not expire, you are not required to retake any units or sit a refresher course.
Entry requirements – no formal requirements for the EMC, however delegates should be proficient in English (written and oral)
